INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY EVENT

International Women’s Day has always kept a special place in our hearts. We held our first annual IWD last year at Four Moons Spa and want to keep the tradition alive in the years to come.

International Women's Day (IWD) is a global day held on March 8th celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. We believe it’s important to empower women’s strengths, embrace our intuition, raise awareness for women’s equality and celebrate our achievements. This year we gathered a group of highly influential women in San Diego to celebrate at the Waverly Restaurant, a space designed by women (AKA us!).

Not only was this event such a success but was one to remember. Our panelists Durana Elmi, COO and Co-Founder of Cymbiotika, Katie Zacarian, Co-Founder and CEO of Earth Species Project and Executive Producer of She Change the Film and Colleen Cormier, VP of Sales at Commvault shared their insights, experiences and visions for a more inclusive and equitable future for women. There were some beautiful, thought-provoking discussions on a wide range of topics, including women’s leadership, diversity and inclusion, breaking barriers and fostering empowerment. Needless to say we were all emotional messes by the end of the night - hugging, crying and laughing together. A night literally supporting each other!

Thanks to all of your donations we were able to raise over $10,000 for She’s the First and 88 Bikes, two nonprofit organizations dedicated to empowering women and girls worldwide.
