Revisting a Former Client for Some Suite Upgrades

LATEST CREATION - THE SUITER LIFE

After we designed their primary suite a few years back, our clients called us back when a few other spaces were in need of a makeover. A project we like to call, Drink, Wash, Sleep, Repeat. “The Suiter Life”, if you ask us.

The best compliment a designer can receive is when a client invites you back into their home to continue to make it theirs. The first time around, we transformed their primary bedroom and bathroom into a spa-like oasis. We called the project The Suite Life, named after the primary “suite”. Get it? This time around, we had the pleasure of transforming their kids’ bathrooms as well as their main dwelling space: the family TV, Game and Bar Room. How fun is that challenge?

The clients’ home is built Tudor style, with a lot of traditional vibes. So adding those same details into the new design has been fun for us. Details like wood wainscot, matching the existing 2” plank wood floors, crown molding details, textures and more textures. The rich color choices also make for a juicy, cozy vibe, and if you ask us…pouring yourself a whiskey and curling up on the sofa with a warm blanket is what it’s telling us. Yes please. The new details added this time around intentionally reflect the designs we created a few years back. That’s the beauty of traditional details. They are classic. They never go out of style, and having a common thread of story-telling throughout the home is always something we try to achieve throughout our designs.
